Oncology and Immunology
We use our expertise in pre-clinical pharmacology to provide high quality integrated solutions to support the therapeutic area of Oncology. Pharmacological procedures and assays are complemented by specialist disease models, chosen for their relevance to current therapeutic strategies.
Our Oncology group offers a variety of multidisciplinary research solutions, including in vitro assays, tumour models (xenograft, orthotopic and metastatic) and associated biomarkers. These can be provided utilising a range of human tumor cells and syngenic murine models and imaging techniques (e.g. bioluminesce) can be applied to provide objective non-invasive readouts in longitudinal studies. We can also provide pharmacokinetic and tissue distribution study in subcutaneous tumor-bearing mice model to GLP regulatory standard.
We apply our expertise in an integrated manner to provide knowledge, and our in vitro and in vivo models and technologies can be used flexibly for fully-integrated projects, small multi-staged pieces of work or standalone studies.
